what a saturday….

went swimming from another night shift at work….

went off to the iit pool at 6.00 in the morning….

had the fun of my life there….

but seriously living for yourself is the best thing that you can possibly do….

and if this involves wanting to be closer to a select few so be it….

then went off to am’s place and slept off after watching a rather nice movie….

woke up had a late and relaxed lunch and went back home to bathe and get ready….

had dinner and went down to the beach and a bloddy great policeman came up and extorted 250 bucks off me….

bullshit…..

and oh yeah! the quiz thing didn’t work out too…. so guess it’s amb now to help me out….

sunday spent it lazing around the house…

nice weekend considering i don’t have to go to work on Monday….

so much so for process. First project i am in i am back into some process that can be best described as fly by wire…..

Yuck! and to think i joined this mess to learn to better manage stuff……

yuck!!!

btw, why is it that life always seem to be smirking at me….

i mean at all phases of my life i was told to aim at something. having aimed at it and done that they said tut tut… but the thing you should actually do is something else….

like say doing well in college….

well if you did so then they said that wasn’t the point….

the point is to get a good job and make money… but not enjoy mind you…..

i don’t really see the point as to why i have to slog but never get to see the fun….

ok. it’s been quite some time since i have actally blogged at all….

many things happened in between…

a short sweet trip to a rather memorable place and much else besides.

but stuck here at 3.00 in the morning wondering what to do….

sheesh….

i am on a perl project now and though this is supposed to be exciting i can’t see why it should be….

we are throwing data at a big fat camel and somehow it’s managed to cope with it….

that brings to my mind a morsel of advice to all young programmers….

coding for money is something else and furthermore remember in India it’s about billing….

if you were to actually solve a problem you would reduce one project, reduce the number of billable items by one….

the trick is to keep running and never finish…

i am actually sickened by the work i am doing….

in fact, i do wish i had gone in for a Ph.D. tough though it would have been…..

pp21 is right. Needs a time for change…. or i need one…..
